Andreas Wortmann
Full professor for Model-Driven Engineering in Production
Institute for Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units (ISW)
University of Stuttgart
My research interests are modeling languages, software engineering methods, and automation tools to facilitate the systematic engineering of the cyber-physical systems of the future and to transfer this into practice in a variety of research projects. Among these are Factory-X, Model-Based DevOps, the Internet of Production, the Center for Systems Engineering, and the Systematic Engineering of Consistent Digital Twins.
Moreover, I serve on the board of the European Association for Programming Languages and Systems (EAPLS), on the editorial boards of the International Journal on Software and Systems Modeling (SoSyM) and the Journal of Object Technology, and engage in a variety of academic and community service.
